A limited number of places are available on a Consumer Law workshop on which will be held at Thurles Chamber Enterprise Centre on

Monday 12 November from 9.30am – 6.00pm. The workshop is run by 2Upskill, a training provider based at the enterprise centre,

and who is approved by the European Commission to facilitate their ‘Consumer Law Ready Workshop for SMEs’.

The workshop is free of charge to all SMEs – the European Commission has funded this project to ensure all SMEs are fully briefed on Consumer Law.

The amendments made to consumer law in 2014 and 2017  are covered in the five consumer law ready modules for SMEs which are written in plain language and easy to follow. The five modules are issued to all SMEs who attend the one day workshop. The workshop will give businesses the necessary information they will need to be consumer law compliant.

Any business owner/manager interested in attending can call Charlie Mernagh on 087 2590666. A small number of places is available, so early booking is recommended.

You will find more information on the following websites, https://www.consumerlawready.eu  from the 2Upskill website and the competition and consumer protection commission (CCPC)
